Bill Nelson & Associates was founded by Bill Nelson, Certified Court Reporter, in 2004 as the Professional Division of Knockout Incorporated. Even though Knockout Incorporated is primarily a company that deals in Entertainment Management, Boxing Management and Promotion, and Sportswear Sales, he has been a Professional Court Reporter for over 31 years.

During his career as a Court Reporter, he has owned and operated Court Reporting businesses in Youngstown, Ohio, Cleveland, Ohio, Miami, Florida, San Diego, California, and now in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has also worked as a Court Reporter in many different courtrooms in all of the cities listed above.

Bill has reported several high-profile cases over the years, including cases involving Johnny Carson, Wayne Newton, Redd Foxx, Liberace, and many others. He was one of three Court Reporters chosen to report the high-profile case of Tony Spilotro and the Hole-in-the-Wall Gang, which the hit movie Casino was based on. He was recently chosen to be the Court Reporter on the O.J. Simpson case that was held in Las Vegas. Bill Nelson & Associates just finished reporting and producing daily-copy transcripts in the month long jury trial entitled Annie Woods, et al -vs- Wyeth and Upjohn Pharmaceuticals, which was recently featured on the Geraldo Rivera Show.

Bill is one of only 2800 people in the whole world to hold a Certificate of Merit from the National Court Reporters Association.

Bill Nelson & Associates presently covers several courtrooms in Las Vegas, but mainly the courtroom of Judge James M. Bixler. The deposition division of Bill Nelson & Associates has been on hold for a while, mainly due to the enormous amount of business it does in the judicial system, but Bill is now in a position where he is finally able to start providing topnotch deposition services and litigation support to all of his friends and associates in the legal community.
