KNOCKOUT INCORPORATED was founded
by Bill Nelson, President/CEO, in 2003 in the Entertainment and Boxing
Capital of the World, Las Vegas, Nevada. He has been a Professional
Boxing Manager, Boxing Judge and Promoter of Boxing for many years.
Growing up in Youngstown, Ohio, the Nelson family
has been involved in the boxing business for over 50 years. During
that time they have worked with many world champions, world title
challengers, as well as numerous world ranked contenders. Bill's
brother Chuck Nelson still resides in Youngstown, Ohio and promotes
the KO Drugs High School Boxing Tournament, which the brothers plan
on making a national and international tournament in the very near
future. Bill’s nephew, Patrick Nelson, is also a Manager/Agent
in the business and presently manages over 30 professional boxers.
During the 1980’s, Bill was a partner in
K.O. Management Inc. along with his brother Paul Nelson, who is now
a Court Reporter in the U.S. Senate in Washington D.C. and long-time
friend and business associate Jim Bixler, who is now a District Court
Judge in Las Vegas.
While Bill has been involved for the better part
of his life in boxing, he also found time to become one of the best
Court Reporters in the business. He was one of three Court Reporters
chosen to report the high-profile case of Tony Spilotro and the Hole-in-the-Wall
Gang, which the hit movie Casino was based on. He recently was the
Court Reporter on the O.J. Simpson case held in Las Vegas. He is one
of only 2800 people in the whole world to hold a Certificate of Merit
from the National Court Reporters Association. His brother Paul is
another.
Bill now owns Bill Nelson & Associates,
which is the professional division of Knockout Incorporated,
and also works with several Distinguished Judges in the Las Vegas
Judicial System. Having managed several Professional Boxers over the
years, along with several Court Reporters that have worked with him
over the years, and having reached the top of his field in Court Reporting,
Bill decided to turn his interests to the Entertainment, Boxing and
Sportswear business, but is still keeping his hand in the Justice
System. He is now looking for a few World Champion-Caliber Boxers
that are in need of top-notch management. He is also going to go back
into the promotional part of boxing soon.
As usual, Bill started in the entertainment industry at the top of
his game by signing International Recording Artist, MIARI.
He is presently releasing her new CD entitled "MIARI" all
around the world. He is in negotiations with promoters/producers in Europe, Asia,
New Zealand and Australia to do promotional concerts for Miari, even
though she is already well-known in those countries, but he is also
in negotiations here in the U.S. and is putting together a show to
present to Hotel/Casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada, and/or possibly Macau,
China.
The Sportswear division of Knockout Incorporated
is presently being put together by Bill and several top designers
in the clothing industry. As he says, we are putting together the
hottest sportswear line to be introduced in years. We are going to compete
with the biggest companies in the business. Again, Bill is shooting
for the top.
